Stackable storage bins can be purchased in various sizes as well as having the option for being clear or colored. It is amazing how a floor filled with toys, clothes, and other childhood "tools" can so neatly and quickly be scooped up and stacked in an efficient amount of space. With a growing child, some parents may want to wait a bit before putting in a permanent closet system since the needs of their children change. However, that doesnt mean that you need to live with clutter while your child grows. By incorporating storage bins, baskets, bin organizers and removable shelving to your childs room you can maintain an environment of controlled chaos for your blossoming child.
One variety of storage units you may use for storing just about any item you want are plastic storage bins that are made of high quality, injection-molded plastic. This kind of storage bins are made ultra strong, durable, and extremely versatile making it able to last for a long period of time. Moreover, this plastic made storage bins are made impermeable to most chemicals and other dirt so any item you store in it are given better protection. When you need to purchase these plastic bins, you can choose individual bins or multiple units that can be stack on top on each other so as to save space wherever you need to put it. You can also choose clear storage bins as well for easy identification of the items you store. With the availability of different sizes, shapes, and colors of storage bins, you can always choose just exactly what you want.
Plastic bins are great in the workshop as well. Since most workshops have a bit of, well, grime in them, you want to have surfaces that are easy to clean. Plastic is very easy to clean off after a project is complete. I like to build shelves and use smaller bins, labeled on the outside, to store my items in my workshop. One of my favorite uses for bins is in the closet. They make storing items a breeze. And you can creative with them as well, using them for shoe organizers and a place to keep your accessories straight. In the bedroom they are perfect for under the bed storage. The kitchen pantry and plastic storage bins are a match made in heaven. Why do you think Tupperware is such a well known brand? Again, I prefer clear containers here so you can easily see the contents. Storage bins are for more than just sticking old items into and shoving them into the attic.
Using plastic storage bins in your home is a great way to organize your stuff and clean up clutter at a relatively low cost (especially if they are purchased on sale). There are a great number of uses for these bins, people use these plastic bins to store clothes; shoes; items set aside for recycling; bulk foods; offseason bedding (blankets, flannel sheets); holiday/seasonal decorations; business files/old tax returns; tapes/cds/dvds; kids toys or stuffed animals; hobby and craft items; organizing the clutter in the linen closet or under the bathroom sink; gardening tools; and the list uses goes on and on.
Using plastic storage bins makes organizing all your clothes a breeze. If you have limited space in your closet, then making the most of vertical space above the hanger bar in your closet can be accomplished with storage bins. These bins can also be used to store shoes on the floor of your closet-instead of scattering shoes all over that floor, instead place them in stacks of storage bins. Your floor will stay clean and your shoes will be easy to find. Plastic storage bins also make under-the-bed storage easily, so you can easily employ the space for linens and clothes, including but not limited to off-season clothing. Lastly, some more interesting ideas for the use of bins include, but are not limited to, pet supply and toy storage, quick and easy pet watering bowls, large bins for storage of livestock and horse equipment on farms, storage of holiday decorations when not in use, and of course, the tons of "stuff" everyone keeps in their garage but have no other place for!
