Maryanne Mathis. Storage Bin. January 17th , 2018.
On the other end of the spectrum, we walk into an industrial plant; on their wall youll see big heavy duty plastic bins. There are not any colors, just grey bins that match the grey floor and walls. These bins are also stackable. They can hold shovels and bars in the tall bins, saws, power tools and heavy wrenches in the medium bin and nuts, bolts and Teflon tape in the small bins. The types of plastic used for the bins are different, because the purpose of the storage bins is different. In the kindergarten class the bins are lightweight and easy to move around. If the kindergartner was asked to move their bin it would be no problem due to the lightweight material. The opening in the bin is small because that is all that is needed, whereas the bins at the industrial plant are much heavier and are not as mobile. There is no reason to move these bins, so they are made to be heavy with a heavier grade plastic for strength and durability. The opening in these bins is wide, because of the equipment that they hold. Storage bins are useful and can serve many purposes, from the kindergarten class to the industrial workplace; storage bins are sturdy and store most anything you have. From crayons to shovels, plastic storage bins are a convenient way to store things. So using these types of plastic storage bins in your garage or childs room can also keep your house or workspace organized, so you can find today what you put away yesterday.
Many people when organizing their closets or workspaces with plastic bins prefer to purchase the clear bins so they can easily view the contents. These bins work great for storing purses, shoes, or belts in your closet. The use of bins is also a great option if living in dorm or a small apartment that lacks dresser or closet space. Many of these bins are stackable in order to conserve space. The bins that are stackable will have an extra lip on the lid to prevent stacked boxes from slipping off each other. Since these bins are made of plastic they are waterproof and airtight, so if bins are stored in basement, outside, or in areas that may collect water the contents remain safe and dry. By storing items in plastic bins, you do not have a problem with mildew, mold, or mice damaging the contents. Utilizing this bins is also great if you frequently move, your items are already packed and ready to load on the truck!
Plastic bins are great in the workshop as well. Since most workshops have a bit of, well, grime in them, you want to have surfaces that are easy to clean. Plastic is very easy to clean off after a project is complete. I like to build shelves and use smaller bins, labeled on the outside, to store my items in my workshop. One of my favorite uses for bins is in the closet. They make storing items a breeze. And you can creative with them as well, using them for shoe organizers and a place to keep your accessories straight. In the bedroom they are perfect for under the bed storage. The kitchen pantry and plastic storage bins are a match made in heaven. Why do you think Tupperware is such a well known brand? Again, I prefer clear containers here so you can easily see the contents. Storage bins are for more than just sticking old items into and shoving them into the attic.
Plastic storage bins may also serve as a good storage area for your other things. It is recommended to use plastic storage bins because it is lighter and easier to dispose compared to drums and other forms of trash cans. Plastic storage bins are also more presentable compared to the traditional types of waste bins. This type of product comes in different sizes and colors. You can instantly choose your own color and size of plastic storage bins for your office or even at home. The good thing about having your own storage bin is that, other people are encouraged to manage their wastes properly because they are already presented with a quick guide on how to do it.
Is your workshop bench cluttered with tools, screws, nuts, wire etc? Perhaps you have used the old trick of using old jam jars to keep screws in. Dont you hate pouring them out onto the bench just to get one screw out? Luckily some very clever (and probably now very rich) guys came up with plastic storage bins. Plastic storage bins are the multicoloured (usually red, blue and yellow although other colours are available) containers are usually hung on a wall or shelving unit using louvered panels. The open style front of the bins allows easy hand access to whatever is being stored inside. Large plastic storage bins to small sized bins (over 20 sizes available on the internet) can be used on one panel due to the versatility of this item.
